Supporting stability, health and independence through housing
The Bloom Group provides housing that meets a wide range of community needs. From affordable homes to supportive and mental health housing, we serve hundreds of people who live on fixed or low incomes or are at risk of homelessness.
Our housing and support services help residents build stability, improve health and well-being. We strive to help them strengthen their sense of belonging, social inclusion, and independence.
Our care model
We believe everyone deserves a place to call home and the support to live a healthy, independent life.
Our services are based on four fundamental principles:
We focus on the person and what they can do, not their condition or challenges. Our support focuses on achieving the person’s aspirations and is tailored to their needs and unique circumstances.
We aim to demonstrate awareness and appreciation for cultures to encourage understanding and respect.
We strive to remove barriers that can prevent people from getting help. That means making our programs welcoming and accessible to everyone, regardless of their background, income, or circumstances.
Many of our clients have experienced trauma or intergenerational trauma. We recognize trauma has a significant impact on substance use, mental health, and behavior.
