Together, we raised an amazing $118,633 for May’s Place hospice!
We would like to thank our wonderful supporters for taking part in our May’s Place 30th Anniversary Event and Auction.
These funds will be directed to:
- Purchasing 6 ceiling lifts for the safety and comfort of our May’s Place patients and staff;
- Providing a Daily Comfort Allowance for patients fostering independence and freedom to live their lives in a way that is meaningful to them;
- Hiring a musical therapist to promote healing and comfort and provide physical, psychological and social benefits;
- Bringing the modality of art therapy to our patients who would like to expend their creative energy and live their lives to the fullest possible.
We are very grateful for your interest and support of May’s Place, the first hospice in Vancouver and still the only hospice in the Downtown Eastside. Your generosity makes our work possible.
